To make the design effective and tested to be user-friendly, completed 5 stages of the design process. Beginning from the problem statement and finding and sketching out the solutions for the concept after doing research. Wireframing and testing it with the users, iterate and completing UI design, and making a prototype. Giving the app to real users for testing, and finally by launching the app.
Problem & Research
Home equity financing has not changed in over a century. Industry builds out a portfolio of leading frictional debt of rational residential real estate NFTs. And the client wanted to build a debt-free home equity finance solution to connect homeowners directly to investors. By doing this we eliminate lenders and liberate home equity for the homeowner and investor to create a more prosperous future for all.
01 Understanding the User

A platform is needed to remove all the barriers in accessing home equity and create an open global marketplace for homeowners and investors.
02 Client’s Business Goals
Debt is a financial burden more and more of us face, and one that has only grown due to the economic impacts of COVID-19. Vesta believes they can help people reduce their debt by turning their home equity into digital assets, and then allowing a percentage of that asset to be sold to investors.
03 Testing with Real Users
Created all design solutions in form of a design clickable prototype. The concept has been presented to users and it does well in testing. The design was tweaked after the feedback as well.

Location: Montreal, Canada
Brooks and Quinn are retired teachers and they just need some urgent money. They are homeowners and would never consider a reverse mortgage to fulfill their needs. They want a solution to sell some part of their home equity without losing it so that they can get back in the future.
– To diversify the equity in their primary residential asset.
– Like to have access to 40% of the home to invest it.
– Happy to tokenize their home while retaining residential rights.
Created a user flow to understand how the users navigate & behave. This was then updated after the user feedback.
Sketches & Ideation
After completing the research, time to sketch down some ideas with initial features. This was also shared with other team members for feedback.
The high fidelity wireframes are important to show the content, information and for structuring the basic layout. It really helped in the UI design part and for user testing of the initial solutions.
UI Design Solutions
Once the features and functionality of the application decided, the next step was to work on user interface design and then prototype it so the stack holders and users can use it and give their valuable feedback.

User Testing & Result
Different types of users who are interested in the home equity market were asked to test the design prototype. The product does well in testing and the designs were tweaked after the feedback. The interactive prototype then uses to pitch the concept to investors.
